It allows you convenience of access and consultant in the evenings or at weekends, flexing around your work or domestic arrangements It assures you of continuity of care under the consultant of your choice, and that your agreed and experienced surgeon will be doing your operation In these challenging economic times, it is priced to be as accessible as possible for patients whatever their domestic and personal circumstances It does not affect your rights to an opinion and/or treatment on the NHS, subject to any geographic restrictions on residency or payments to NHS hospitals by the local Primary care Trusts (PCTs) |
